Fire Interview

VP (Vicious Puppet master): Thank you for coming today.

FR (Faux News reporter): You deman...uh...thank you. This would be about the fire that occurred in your office at the white House?

VP: Yes.

FR: It looked like a serious fire. Was there much damage?

VP: No one was hurt, the country is doing well despite the threat of terrorism everywhere, and be assured that it will not affect our commitment to staying the course in Iraq while aggressively going after Iran for about the same reasons we went after Iraq.

FR: How did the fire start?

VP: This is just one of those unfortunate things that occur from time to time.

FR: What was damaged?

VP: That brings us to the main reason for this interview. As unfortunate as it is, I'm afraid that all files related to several current and upcoming court cases and more than a few CIA tapes and files I was reviewing are now nothing more than ash. I'm afraid that all the hard drives on all the computers were also destroyed. I'll add that anything the fire didn't destroy was destroyed by heat, smoke, and/or water damage.

FR: So despite the fact that no one was injured, this really was a tragic event.

VP: Very true. All of the burned material would have proved me...uh...the administration innocent of each and every charge or allegation we face. I would like to add that the hard copies of every piece of of e-mail sent or received since we took control...that is to say...since this administration was elected in 2000 was also burned in this surprising and unfortunate blaze.

FR: That IS unfortunate. Sir, I hesitate to bring this up (because I could be fired), but there is a horrible rumor that the was possibly an accelerant involved in this blaze.

VP: As a matter fact, I would like to address that issue. As it happens, the fire started right where some other person dropped a spinning bottle of Bacardi 151. A tragic and completely random occurrence.

FR: As you say sir. Tragic. Sir, the entire nation is on their knees thanking their Christian god that you, at least were spared. Thank you for granting me this interview.

Ask

Ask why Billions of your tax dollars are spent on a firm of hired mercenaries (Blackwater) that will remain even after the so-called democratically elected government has asked to leave (and it’s a travesty that they get paid better than our own fighting forces).

Ask where your National Guard is...and why. (while you are at it, ask how supplied and funded they are for their primary purpose)

Ask why money through lobbyists and large corporations seems to rule all in a supposedly honest, free democracy.

Ask why my mother’s property values have dropped too low to allow her to retire (with no optimism in the near future).

Ask why the government is so far in debt that it appears incapable of digging its way out.

Ask why we have so many homeless vets and children in the streets while sending billions of dollars to Israel each and every year.

Ask virtually anything about Israel (keeping in mind you will likely be branded anti-Semitic)

Ask virtually anything about depleted uranium.

Ask why our schools get so little funding when they are so essential.

Ask almost anything about out-sourcing or what the U.S. actually makes in its entirety these days.

Ask why Central banks across the world are unloading their US dollar reserves.

Ask why nobody seems to want to investigate why three steel frame buildings collapsed in their footprints at almost free fall speed in the same day when it has never happened to even one before or since (outside of controlled demolition).

Ask why every presidential signature these days erodes, or more honestly, ignores the very document that the country is based on (the Constitution).

Ask why Ron Paul is actively ignored by mainstream media when he scores very well in nearly every straw poll.

Ask why the Democrates have basically done nothing they promised before they were elected even though they hold a majority of both houses.

Ask why we no longer follow the Geneva Conventions.

Ask why our soldiers are required to spend longer times with fewer breaks in a war that was based on Al’Qaida ties that even our government now says didn’t exist, weapons of mass destruction that weren’t there (the falsification of “evidence” has also been proven), and the promises that we would be greeted as liberators. (absolutely no disrespect to anyone willing to fight and die for our country intended on this one)

Ask why it’s so hard to fly anywhere these days (and it’s gonna get worse).

Ask weather you are safer today than you were ten years ago.

Now replace “ask” with “do a little research on”. Not as easy, but man, what you will learn!

Time to wake up before its too late.

Here’s a good way to start: Read the Declaration of Independence to get a mind frame. Then really read the Constitution. The next step would be to check to see what parts of that wonderful document are no longer being adhered to (I have more than a few places for you to check if you need them....but looking for yourself will help you understand much more fully). After that, work your way through the rest.

No small amount of work, I admit, But the entire world can benefit. No kidding! You plus another 100 million or so and things would begin to change for the better everywhere.

Quotes

It's been a while since I've written anything here. I've done some stuff. Even had a personal TSA moment (hours actually...and police were involved as well...on my side).

This is a shot I took just days after the 4th of July celebrations at the mall in Washington D.C. Is this the symbol of the country?

The trip to the States was actually great...excepting the actual transportation issues.

Here are a few quotes from one of my heroes. They resound as much today as they did when spoken.

-Anyone who isn't confused really doesn't understand the situation.

-No one can terrorize a whole nation, unless we are all his accomplices.

-Our major obligation is not to mistake slogans for solutions.

-We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. When the loyal opposition dies, I think the soul of America dies with it.

-We cannot defend freedom abroad by deserting it at home.

I was going to make you guess as to the genius behind these gems heard around the world, but that would be plagiarizing the pinnacle of journalism.

Ron Paul

I haven't posted anything here in ages. Now I'm going to do this...11 days before leaving the country for ten days. The next post may not be until I return.

Ron Paul.

Who would have ever imagined me in awe of a Republican presidential candidate?! Not me!!

This guy is beyond amazing. He stood on a stage with nearly every other GOP candidate and boldly stated that wars abroad are not the answer and that we should lead by example rather than force (at least when he was allowed to speak at all). Every other candidate was talking about how using atomic weapons in Iran was an option. This is a man that stands up for (and votes) his beliefs. He is also the one person running for president I know of (I haven't really check this one out thoroughly) that hasn't accepted any money from AIPAC or the other Israel-based lobbyists (AIPAC is currently embroiled in a case of spying against the U.S. and yet nearly every candidate on both sides has nevertheless accepted huge contributions from this organization, fully aware that this is the situation).

The media is pointedly ignoring Dr. Paul. He is rarely mentioned despite his wild popularity on the internet. Many polls show him to have won both debates by a fair margin (only the ones not rigged). A recent poll has him a close second behind Thompson. Anyone see THAT on the news?

His own party avoids him like the plague and reportedly has asked him not run as a Republican. That makes me like him even more. The fact that he is not liked by the MSM (Main Stream Media) is just one more reason to love the guy. Keep in mind that the MSM played a huge role in our current clusterf#%$k in Iraq and is now working hard (with their buddies/bosses in this administration) on Iran. The same people that would rather tranquilize you with Paris Hilton stories than report on what's really going on in the world would rather you not know about Dr. Paul.

Here is an archive of Ron Paul speeches and articles. If you care about America and direction things have been going, please look at Dr. Paul's views. Far more than any other politician I've studied in years, this man speaks my own thoughts. That he is so disliked by his own party and MSM means there is little realistic chance he will be elected unless there are millions of people like me. People that really read, think...and vote!

This is one of the best sites I've found for a concise listing of speeches and articles in one click. It comes courtesy of LewRockwell.com. Congressman Ron Paul: Archives

Please give Congressman Paul a look. See what he has said, how he has voted, and his thoughts on how the U.S. should be run. Bring back to the executive branch someone that truly believes in the Constitution.

If you like what you see, spread the word! Mr. Rockwell is more than happy to have you send the link above to as many people as you like (I actually asked permission before posting it).

Ron Paul. A thinking person's president. A patriot's president! Let's bring the United States back to respected and admired world leader it would be now if it were lead as our founders intended.

The Plan

Something titled The Plan! hit my Inbox the other day.

It's been around awhile, but has recently been attributed to Robin Williams. That part of it is a hoax. Robin Williams never wrote anything more than possibly a small quote at the end of the most recent version to make the rounds (taken out of context from one of his routines). Click on this: Snopes/The Plan! to check the snopes (a hoax-checking site) article.

As this version came to me directly from someone I know, I thought I'd comment specifically.

My unasked-for ¥2.42 (two cents) worth:

The Plan!

1) "The US will apologize to the world for our "interference" in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those "good 'ole' boys", we will never "interfere" again.

This one used to stop at "...present." I pretty much agreed with that one. The new ending makes this version just plain viscious.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germany, South Korea, the Middle East, and the Philippines. They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence.

Though I wouldn't mind stronger border control, the idea of withdrawing our forces world-wide, en-mass and using them to the circle our country is just silly.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

Interesting idea...right up until the unnecessary dig at France. Any idea of what it would take to assist or deport six million+ people in 90 days? Funny how none of the guys that write these things ever mention the other, more practical method which would work equally well. Serious jail time, or at least very hefty fines, for anyone caught hiring an illegal alien. That'd shut down (or at least cause a major re-invention of) half the restaurants in the country and practically eliminate nanny and housekeeping services (not to mention what would happen to the landscaping and construction industries). At the very least, pricing would dramatically change. Who suffers, and who benefits when you look at this from the larger view?

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

The first sentence of this is actually the law. It has been for decades. It's the entire purpose of the visa system. The rest is just mean and bigoted in is very nature. Define "terrorist nation". Likely any country actually listed as such already has travel restrictions in place. "Asylum would never be available to anyone."?! How very Christian. Ask your priest, minister, paster or rabbi about that one. "We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers."...you might as well shout your pride in racist bigotry as say this aloud.

5) No foreign "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

Another ridiculous one. PhD students are mostly over 21 as are those seeking Masters degrees while working in the States. The chances of one being a "bomber" are about the same as you simultaneously winning several hundred million dollars in a lottery while being struck by lightning as your car falls into a sinkhole created by the earthquake happening. This is scare-mongering at its worst. If they are getting a "D" (as an average across the board), then they shouldn't be here as a student (that part, I agree with).

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

This one I don't half disagree with. Still, I wonder about how temporary drilling would be...esp. if large deposits were found. I'd like to think we could limit caribou damage though.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

This one is sadly naive in soo many ways, but again, I don't half disagree with the general idea behind it. Funny no mention is made of the obscene profits U.S. oil companies are making at this very moment. Is it them that would be offering (and presumably getting) $10 a barrel? What would it cost you by the time it reached your car? I'm sure the oil companies would not try to take advantage...

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere." They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given
to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

How very Christian...not to mention neighborly...and when did we start supplying countries with rain?! (refrain from ecological quips please!) I do agree more needs to be done to see that aid gets to those that need it. While pointing a decidedly correct finger elsewhere, try looking a little closer to home as well. New Orleans since Katrina would be a good example if you want to see how well this kind of thing is handled even within the States.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

No doubt there are many countries that would jump at the honor of housing the U.N. No isolated island need be found or bought. Most of this could likely have be taken from a policy statement from 1939 Germany...besides, why bother with loading the U.N. with spies when all that it takes to accomplish the same thing is money? Hell, the lobbying group AIPAC...involved in several spy scandals...is one of the biggest contributors to almost every currently elected high-level official in U.S. government.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH...learn it...or LEAVE.

I kind of agree with this one...but have trouble with the last part of it (seeing how I still can't really manage Japanese even after living here as long as I have).

I am aware that this is just usually passed around as a joke by people that give it a quick read and not a lot of thought, but it's usually passed around with some kind of comment about electing this guy. There are things in this that really do need thought. Mine are above.

A plan really is needed (not that humor isn't), but the above doesn't really qualify as either in my opinion.
