Ron Paul
I haven't posted anything here in ages. Now I'm going to do this...11 days before leaving the country for ten days. The next post may not be until I return.Ron Paul.
Who would have ever imagined me in awe of a Republican presidential candidate?! Not me!!
This guy is beyond amazing. He stood on a stage with nearly every other GOP candidate and boldly stated that wars abroad are not the answer and that we should lead by example rather than force (at least when he was allowed to speak at all). Every other candidate was talking about how using atomic weapons in Iran was an option. This is a man that stands up for (and votes) his beliefs. He is also the one person running for president I know of (I haven't really check this one out thoroughly) that hasn't accepted any money from AIPAC or the other Israel-based lobbyists (AIPAC is currently embroiled in a case of spying against the U.S. and yet nearly every candidate on both sides has nevertheless accepted huge contributions from this organization, fully aware that this is the situation).
The media is pointedly ignoring Dr. Paul. He is rarely mentioned despite his wild popularity on the internet. Many polls show him to have won both debates by a fair margin (only the ones not rigged). A recent poll has him a close second behind Thompson. Anyone see THAT on the news?
His own party avoids him like the plague and reportedly has asked him not run as a Republican. That makes me like him even more. The fact that he is not liked by the MSM (Main Stream Media) is just one more reason to love the guy. Keep in mind that the MSM played a huge role in our current clusterf#%$k in Iraq and is now working hard (with their buddies/bosses in this administration) on Iran. The same people that would rather tranquilize you with Paris Hilton stories than report on what's really going on in the world would rather you not know about Dr. Paul.
Here is an archive of Ron Paul speeches and articles. If you care about America and direction things have been going, please look at Dr. Paul's views. Far more than any other politician I've studied in years, this man speaks my own thoughts. That he is so disliked by his own party and MSM means there is little realistic chance he will be elected unless there are millions of people like me. People that really read, think...and vote!
This is one of the best sites I've found for a concise listing of speeches and articles in one click. It comes courtesy of LewRockwell.com. Congressman Ron Paul: Archives
Please give Congressman Paul a look. See what he has said, how he has voted, and his thoughts on how the U.S. should be run. Bring back to the executive branch someone that truly believes in the Constitution.
If you like what you see, spread the word! Mr. Rockwell is more than happy to have you send the link above to as many people as you like (I actually asked permission before posting it).
Ron Paul. A thinking person's president. A patriot's president! Let's bring the United States back to respected and admired world leader it would be now if it were lead as our founders intended.

Hey Friend,
you forgot to mention he wants to eliminate the IRS as well...
Too bad the usa was taken over by hoodlums. Perhaps when snow falls in hell something good will happen in us politics...
Haven't heard from you in a while... missed your posts.

Yeah well...something needs to be done. Have you heard about the Browns in N.H.? Income tax and the I.R.S. may be a subject of another post here.
I have to admit that I'm a little concerned about Dr. Paul's views on health care and allowing a free market to set prices (in more than just health care and insurance) not to mention his pro-life stance, but the fact that big business (the health care and insurance industries esp.) seems to hate him works strongly in his favor as far as I'm concerned.
You'd be amazed at the number of media outlets that will comment on every other candidate without ever even mentioning Ron Paul. It's almost scary considering how he tops nearly every internet poll and is the talk of the blogs.
I really think that the current bunch of "leaders" is the worst the nation has ever seen. Even when they are caught lying, the lie about that. I can't believe what they get away with...that's off topic though. Ron Paul gets my vote (for now).
Hi friend,
I keep finding it odd, very odd that Ron Paul is not reported on by the MSM. I think I know the reson for this. It's because of his thoughts on the goals of government and his lack of support and most importantly, his will to stick his neck out for the MSM main benefactor as he proclaims in his message "Before the U.S. House of Representatives, July 20, 2006" as listed in http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul335.html
BTW, I've been a reader of the rockwell site for quite some time...

Just got back from a trip, had my computer fry before my very eyes and am loving the new one.
Back-checking some stuff.
To stand up and shout it out just gets you ridiculed (or arrested). I just hope everyone supporting Dr. Paul votes (and the votes are counted).
